We can live only in the present moment

I read a book yesterday, still reading. It is a summary of The Meditations from Marcus Aurelius. It is a meaningful book, at least to me. It is a Chinese book, but it make me wanna so much to check on the original copy.

The first quote I hope I can learn well: We can live only in the present moment
This is a simple sentence. I believe most of the people understand what it mean. But not many people can really understand deep enough until you can apply it.
As a "fact" person, of course we can only live in the present moment. But the present moment is not only refer to today. It is now!
What it mean by when you eat, you eat; when you bath you bath?
How long you never concentrate on your eating? Not only food, but eating. We enjoy the whole eating session. The food is nice, environment is nice. This is a package, this is over all. But what about that moment, when you eat?
Yes, is deep, I don't understand neither.

But it bring to my attention about the present moment. Not to recall too much on what passed, not to worry too much on tomorrow or 3 weeks later. Now, is the time I should live it well. Now maybe is the only way we can avoid regret in future. Now maybe is the only to avoid history to happen again. Now maybe is the way to overcome what had passed. And we only live present moment once.

I hope I learn about NOW. Luckily NOW is so kind, it always here and it never too late as long as I still alive.
